I'm incredibly interested in the weather and find that it often becomes the main story of the day. So here is a showreel of sorts of some of my weather stories.
At the beginning of 2018 I was part of the team that launched a new style of broadcasting in Local TV. Termed 'Rolling Localness' this format features short elements with exciting content and has proved popular breakfast viewing.Check out this great video
A two part report featuring a coalition of emergency services rehearsing a mud rescue on Weston-super-Mare beach front. The Bristol Channel has the second highest highest tidal range in the world, making Weston beach a dangerous place to be stuck in the mud.
A company in Bristol claims to be the first in the UK to offer soon-to-be fathers the experience of pregnancy. I was sent to test out the experience with some hilarious results.
I was lucky enough to be invited to cover the Gromit Unleashed 2 trail, the third Aardman Animations trail in Bristol raising money for the children’s hospital. My reports include a chat with Nicola Masters, Director of The Grand Appeal and Peter Lord, Co-Founder of Aardman animations. The statues raised over £1 Million at auction which is and incredible figure!
I stuck all my reports in to one video for easy watching. If you fancy a look, watch the video!
Part of England saw severe snow fall in the early months of 2019. I was asked to deliver some live reports in to several programmes on TalkRadio including Eamon Holmes' Drive Time show.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Harry and Meghan visited Bristol as it was experiencing some wintry weather. I was on King Street speaking to fans who hoped to meet the royal couple.
